Army Intermediate Command and Staff Course
Pre-course Assignment

Welcome as a student at the Army Intermediate Command and Staff Course starting on 7th of January 2009.

As a part of your preparation of the course you need to complete a short assignment related to the teaching in Formation Level Operations. The purpose of this assignment is to introduce you to manuals used at BALTDEFCOL and NATO graphic symbols and definitions. This familiarization will assist you in achieving a smooth start of the course.

All answers to the questions in the assignment can be found in the publications available on http://aicsc.bdcol.ee/ under Pre-Course Assignment. To access this link you need to log in using a username and a password you have already received.

Print out the Questionnaire and read carefully the questions to make yourself familiar with the requirements. Take your time to prepare the answers and be aware of the fact that one question can have more than one correct answer - so you are not restricted to one cross or word. Do not mark your answers in the electronic Questionnaire before you have prepared the answers to all questions. Be aware that the system will not allow you a second attempt.
